When life seems to be so confusing,
And trials are so hard to bear,
It helps to remember what the scriptures have to say,
To guide you through the day.
CHORUS:
Trust is the Lord with all thine heart,
Lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him,
And he shall direct thy paths.
Trust him, trust him.
Have faith, and follow his words.
Trust him, trust him;
He’ll guide you through your life.
Then life will have purpose and meaning,
And hope for the future will be bright.
